2. What data we collect
Digital signature wall
When you leave your signature on the digital wall, we process: the drawing strokes you compose on screen, the name you choose to write (it's optional; if you leave it blank, your signature is published anonymously), and a hash of your IP address — not the actual address — which we use solely to prevent automated or abusive submissions. Your signature is published alongside the others on the website and on the digital wall.
Browsing and visits
When you visit the website, our server and hosting provider log standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and site operation purposes. See our cookie policy for details on the cookies we use, including the one from the embedded Google Maps map in the "Visit us" section.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Publishing your signature on the digital wall and the website — legal basis: your consent, given when you voluntarily submit your signature.
- Preventing abuse and automated submissions on the signature wall — legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service running properly.
- Maintaining the security and technical operation of the website — legal basis: legitimate interest.
4. Data retention
Signatures on the digital wall are kept for as long as they remain part of the website's public display, unless you request their removal. The IP hash associated with each signature is kept alongside it solely for moderation purposes. Technical browsing logs are kept for the standard period used by our hosting provider, for security purposes.
5. Recipients and processors
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. We share data only with:
- Our hosting provider, as data processor.
- Monachos Makers, as the site's technical developer and maintainer, when their involvement is necessary for the website to function.
- Google, when the embedded Google Maps map loads in the "Visit us" section (see cookie policy).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: find out what data of yours we process.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your signature and associated data.
- Objection and restriction: object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format.
7. How to exercise your rights
